Online CPR, AED & First Aid Certification for Healthcare Professionals
The CPR and AED portion of this course teaches you to recognize cardiac arrest, including agonal breathing, and to respond using the AHA-recommended sequence for in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Training covers high-quality chest compressions, AED operation and pad placement, minimizing pauses around shocks, and post-cardiac arrest care.
The first aid portion builds on that foundation with scene assessment, consent and Good Samaritan laws, and a structured primary survey. You'll learn to manage shock and severe bleeding, respond to medical emergencies such as heart attack, stroke, anaphylaxis, hypoglycemia, and seizures, and care for choking, trauma, burns, poisoning, bites, and heat- and cold-related illness. Learners should only perform tasks within their professional scope of practice.
